Zentangle – Diva Challenge #91

I love the Diva Challenges every week. Unfortunately I only seem to get them done every few weeks. I guess that is better than nothing, right? If you are interested in doing them, or just seeing what everyone else is doing, just click on the link to the right.

Zentangle® is a relaxing and mindful process, created by Rick and Maria of zentangle.com. Visit their website for more info on the principles and values of Zentangle. Or contact a CZT for a class (I am a CZT too). You can find a list of CZTs by state and country on the Zentangle website. You can also purchase official Zentangle products at Blue Twig Studio.

This week’s Diva Challenge #91 was to create a tile based on the Beads of Courage. This organization helps children with chronic disease or illness. So of course my tile had to be beads. It is probably what everyone is doing. 🙂

I also completed another Zentangle that I thought I would share with you while I was here.

Sorry the photos are a bit darker than usual. I love the entire Zentangle process, but it seems I don’t make as much time to play with it as I would wish. Do you Zentangle? How often do you do it? How much time do you devote to it?

Enjoy!

Your string was so well done that your beads look fantastic!

  2. Both your Zentangles are very nicely done.

  3. These are lovely! Love the beads, and the second one is gorgeous and has nice shading!
I also don’t do them as often as I would want to, but it’s definitely wonderful and relaxing.

Your two zia’s are beautiful. Especially the second one is great. I tangle a lot and it takes a great part of my time. Well, since I am (early) retired, that’s no problem. I have tangled on: boxes, coasters, stones and shells. I also spend a lot of time visiting weblogs and websites about zentangle.

  5. Really pretty “bracelet” of finely crafted beads. Your second tangle has a nice flow, too.

  6. Your beads look great, I like the zentangles you used on them. I also like your second tile, thanks for sharing.

Love the details on your beads. Really well done!
