Monday Art/Journal Prompt

Woo hoo! Another Monday Art/Journal prompt for you. I like having the art/journaling prompts on a Monday. For so many people, Mondays are not fun at all! A lot of people really dislike Mondays. So having a fun art and journaling prompt to start your week seems like a pretty good deal!

This weeks art/journaling prompt is to create an alter ego. I don’t think we’ve done this on the blog before, but one of my groups did work on it and it was a very creative exercise and quite eye-opening.

You can use pictures and photos to show what you might like to use as your alter ego. You can do some journaling about who your alter ego is and why you have chosen her/him. Is is somebody you wish you were? Is it somebody that is opposite of who you are now? Do you want to be a super-hero? A different person? A different age? What do you look like? What do you think about? What is your name? My alter-egos name is Jessie Starr. (I have my reasons!)

Are you a superhero?

It is a fun exercise in identifying who we are and why, and maybe who we wish we were, and why! Enjoy the exercise!

  1. Now that is an interesting idea! I always imagined my self as a 19th century lady, wearing long dresses and big hair, and acting like a total lady. 🙂
