Monday Art/Journal Prompt

Time for another Art/Journal Prompt. This week it is less of a prompt and more of a task. Just wanted to mix it up a bit, to keep you on your toes. 🙂

Pretty Envelopes

This week I would like you to add at least one pocket/envelope to your art journal. You can use a cute little decorative pocket or envie that you can buy.  You can use an old-fashioned library card pocket (my favorite). You can just take an envelope you have with some stationery or that you receive in the mail and use it. You can make a pocket out of pretty papers or fabric. Doesn’t matter what you use. Just add it to a page or perhaps the inside of your journal. You can glue it in, tape it in (use some of that fun deco tape here), staple it in, sew it in, whatever. Then you can collect little bits and pieces or ephemera to tuck into the pocket, or perhaps some favorite quotes, or photos, maybe some notes or other pretty things. Don’t forget to decorate the pocket too!!!

Remember to have fun! ~Deb~

  1. Now that you mentioned, my journal does need a pocket or two. 🙂 And I have some envelopes to recycle, so that would be a good combination.
