Monday Art/Journal Prompt

Apparently Spring wasn’t quite ready to be here to stay. After a beautiful week in the 70’s, today it is cold and windy and overcast and bleak. We could use some moisture but I’m not sure we will get much. I hope it won’t last very long til the Spring weather is back.

Your Monday art/journaling prompt is to be a bit introspective today. Choose 3 words that represent who you are or how you feel today. You can list them and write a bit about each one, or cut out pictures or sketch something that reminds you of each of them. Or maybe a combination of the two. It’s all about what works for you in your journal. And of course, you can have more than 3 if you want to.

My words for today are:

  1. blustery (I feel like Winnie the Pooh :))
  2. busy (there is always a long to-do list, isn’t there?)
  3. creative (working/thinking on projects)

What are your words for today? How about words for the week or the month too? How do they make you feel? How many words did you come up with? What words do you wish you would have been able to use?

Now go work in your art journal and have some fun!

  1. I think my words would be Creative, Spring and I know the last one is not one word, but it would be “too much on my mind”, LOL!
