Did everyone give themselves some positive affirmations last week? I know I did, and I am trying to actually believe them. Ha Ha
This week your challenge is to send someone a thank-you note. An actual hand-written and stamped and mailed thank-you note. It is important to show gratitude and a thank-you note is one of the best ways to do that. Think about when you have received a thank-you note from somebody. How did it make you feel? Especially if it was unexpected. Those are the best ones! That can boost your day or your week or even your entire month! We love to be appreciated and we like to think that people notice when we go that extra mile and put in that extra bit of effort. And maybe people do appreciate it and notice it, but they don’t often say so.
So this week we are going to find somebody to thank and send off a written note. Maybe a clerk was super helpful when you were out shopping for a new computer. Send a thank-you to the store and let the manager know that this employee was really appreciated. Maybe a neighbor picked up your mail while you were out of town. They could use a written thank-you. Did your brother-in-law come and help you put up a new fence? He definitely needs thanked. Did your best friend come help you clean out your garage so you didn’t have to do it alone? Yep, send her a thank-you note!
I know you have somebody in your life that needs a little extra thank you this week. Send them a pretty notecard with a hand-written note inside and tell them why they are appreciated. It’ll make their day! And the added bonus is that you will feel better as well, for having done it.
